This handy software captures sequenced snapshot images from a CCTV system so that you can use them to create a time-lapse video file.
This handy software captures sequenced snapshot images from a CCTV system so that you can use them to create a time-lapse video file. It’s a great solution for capturing building projects, the changing season as plants grows and other slow motion effects. The software connects to CCTV system and takes a still image snapshot from a camera at an interval and schedule you select and then saves them in a folder. You can then use the inbuilt tool to create a basic time-lapse MP4 file with them or import them into other software to create the video file.
The CCTV Timelapse tool can also upload the images using it's built in FTP routine to a website to create a "Timelapse-web-cam" that's updated on an image by image basis, frequently used for showing people weather, traffic or scenery.

How does the Timelapse CCTV software work?
It connects to your DVR, takes snapshot images and then saves them on a PC. The latest image captured can be uploaded directly to a website URL giving webcam-style functionality. This means companies can use their CCTV system to provide up to date pictures or even provide timed photo snapshots. The time-lapse feature collects snapshots at different times of the day and saves them locally. Third party software can then be used to create a high speed video of a specified time period - often seen on TV to depict flowers blooming or seasons changing.

Can I capture images at set intervals from my CCTV system to create a timelapse video?
Yes, this software can be configured to take snapshot images from your Zip NVR/DVR at specified times and save them locally on a PC.
Scheduling is quite flexible, you may choose to include or exclude weekend captures.

What Resolutions does it Capture ?
This software can only capture at a resolution of 1280x720, the DVR/NVR can be set at a higher resolution but should not be set lower.
How do I create a timelapse video from captured images ?
This program has a built-in animator that uses FFMPEG to create AVI, MP4 or WMV video files from captured images. It has limited features but its ease of use makes it very simple to use. There are many programs available to perform this task, some of which are free of charge, most have more functionality than so you may prefer to use one of those instead.
