Who could use the Timelapse CCTV software?

This software has been used to provide snapshot images of buildings being constructed, traffic monitoring and even on a golf course to show website users the current conditions! Of course, it’s also great for providing promotional “webcam” images of any type of business online.

How does the Timelapse CCTV software work?

It connects to your DVR, takes snapshot images and then saves them on a PC. The latest image captured can be uploaded directly to a website URL giving webcam-style functionality. This means companies can use their CCTV system to provide up to date pictures or even provide timed photo snapshots. The time-lapse feature collects snapshots at different times of the day and saves them locally. Third party software can then be used to create a high speed video of a specified time period - often seen on TV to depict flowers blooming or seasons changing.

Can I capture images at set intervals from my CCTV system to create a timelapse video?

Yes, this software can be configured to take snapshot images from your Zip NVR/DVR at specified times and save them locally on a PC.

Scheduling is quite flexible, you may choose to include or exclude weekend captures.
