Once the cameras capture the number plate, they compare the registrations to their built in lists and then carry out actions on a match or non match. For simple applications the 3 lists and functionality of the cameras are enough without any additional software, but for “Power Users” of ANPR cameras we have additional software called RoboPlate ANPR Command Centre.

RoboPlate Command Centre software allows you to create additional lists to the 3 camera ones such as lists for staff, VIPs, friends, family, cleaners, contractors etc. From each list created you can create an action list based on the vehicle registration match. For example, if the camera spots the plate of a VIP list member you might want to send an instant pop up message on your PC, open the gates or send an email. It’s easy to create, move and manage the lists using the software and trigger actions to suit your requirements.

You may for example want a simple record of when each member of your staff arrives or leaves the premises or perhaps get an instant alert that a returning customer has pulled into your car park.
